Founded in 1991 as Claymon Laboratories, we became part of the global Eurofins Clinical Diagnostics network in 2015. This integration has enabled us to offer access to thousands of tests across all medical specialties, including advanced genetic testing.
Eurofins Biomnis is accredited to the ISO 15189:2022 standard for medical laboratories. In 1997, we became the first clinical laboratory to achieve accreditation from ILAB (now INAB). Since then, we have maintained our accreditation annually while continuously expanding the scope of our accredited services.
Our scientific expertise supports the delivery of both routine and highly specialised laboratory testing services to a wide range of healthcare professionals. We are a trusted partner to public and private hospitals, GP clinics, occupational health providers, and specialist centres in areas such as oncology, renal care, fertility, nutrition, and sports medicine.
Our laboratory team consists of highly skilled scientists, led by experienced chief and senior professionals. In addition, a multidisciplinary panel of consultants oversee result reporting, under the leadership of our Medical Director, Dr. Michael Louw.
