Childhood Cancer Ireland is a patient-led organisation supporting children, adolescents and young adults affected by cancer, as well as their families and survivors. With many years of experience advocating for better supports and services, Laura is passionate about ensuring every family receives not only the best medical care, but also comprehensive psychosocial support throughout their cancer experience and beyond.
Under Laura’s leadership, Childhood Cancer Ireland has expanded a range of innovative support services including peer support, survivorship programmes, psychosocial and bereavement supports and family wellbeing initiatives. She works closely with healthcare professionals, charities and policymakers to advocate for more equitable, accessible and compassionate cancer care across Ireland.
