Christine Campbell

Christine is an experienced patient advocate and public contributor with a specialist focus on ovarian cancer, palliative care, rehabilitative approaches, and patient‑centred research. Drawing on her lived experience of cancer, palliative care and a strong professional background in governance and strategic communication, she supports research teams to design, review, and deliver studies that reflect the real needs and priorities of people affected by cancer. Christine is an active member of the Northern Ireland Cancer Research Consumer Forum. She has contributed to regional, national, and European initiatives and research aimed at improving quality of life, equitable access to services, and the integration of supportive and rehabilitative palliative care. She is an experienced speaker in cancer and palliative care, regularly sharing insights on patient empowerment, communication, and the value of holistic, creative, and complementary approaches to wellbeing.  Her skills include co‑design, patient‑centred review of research materials, ethical and governance insight.
